My name is Michael Moore. I’m a Senior here at Westfield House. I have worked in the care sector for the last 13 years, mainly within learning disabilities and mental health units. I have a passion for ensuring that people receive the right care and treatment.
I’m one of 8 children and my family seems to grow more and more every year. I’m currently at a stage where I call my relatives by everyone else’s name before I get to their own.
When I’m not working, I have various hobbies such as Harry Potter (more of an obsession than a hobby these days) and I also love travelling. I want to make sure I’ve seen most of the world, as part of my bucket list. I have a strong passion for music and enjoy going to festivals and concerts whenever I can. My main love is cooking, and I’m prepared to try anything once. Not only does cooking de-stress me, but it’s a good excuse to have a G&T.
I’m a quirky individual with a love of fashion. I’m a big believer in pattern on pattern, even if it doesn’t match, and there is no such thing as too much colour, (thankfully I tone this down for work).
Finally, I’m a very proud cat owner, to a cat named Stannis. He treats my house like a hotel and has the attitude of a teenager, but I wouldn’t be without him.
